Bruce Chamberlain prepared an urban design framework for a new professional football stadium and surrounding district in downtown Minneapolis’ East Town District. The plan formed the basis for a new professional football stadium, a major new downtown park and billions of dollars in housing and office investment.

Chamberlain was the local lead of a national design team and acted as the ongoing keeper of the vision and voice of the project through stadium and park funding for the client group including the City of Minneapolis, Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, Minnesota Vikings and later, the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board.
